Here are my keyblades for my Roxas costume: Oblivion and Oathkeeper for those of you aren't familiar ;-) Lots of wood work was involved.

I lovingly dub these "My babies" <3.

Technical bits : I made them out of wood, and did the details with a dremel. It was my first time using a dremel, and I like the results that you get from it. Painted with cheap acrylic and clear glossed. The chain in the middle of Oblivion and on its keychain is plastic chain I bought from Home Depot. Maybe doing these a second time will make em look even better ^^

My favorite part about these keyblades is not only the overall appearance, but the silly looking Paopu fruit guy on the end of Oathkeeper. Closeup of him coming soon :D He's so cute!


Edit April 2008: A long long time ago in a galaxy far far away I made these. I sold this old pair on ebay and resurfaced the paint job. This is a new pic I uploaded recently of how they look now. No longer symbolically crossed, but these look better. I will NOT take commissions for keyblades. I will make pre-made ones at my leisure and offer them for sale occasionally.

I believe I saw Oathkeeper with your Roxas cosplay. It was neat to see up close.
